Sabrina's preschool graduation was today and she could not have been more excited about the day's activities. 
At her graduation all of the kids shared their favorite thing about school and what they want to be when they grow up. Sabrina said that she likes playing with her friends and wants to be a mom when she grows up.
A few weeks ago I put the little potty in the bathroom just to see what Zane would do. He sat on it a few times and looked at a couple of books before he discovered it's true value as a stool. Now he regularly drags it out of the bathroom and uses it to watch the fish or climb into his chair. Yesterday I did find him sitting on it in the bathroom (fully clothed!) after I had told all of the kids to go potty before we got in the car! So we're hopeful that eventually it will become more than just a stool!

It has been pretty cool around here the past few weeks and the kids have been anxious to play in the water. Finally today was warm enough to pull out the sprinkler and the kids had a blast running around the backyard. Now if it will just warm up enough for the swimming pool...
Danny was on call this weekend, so the kids and I spent Sunday in Lubbock. We had a fun afternoon and evening just being with family.

Noni and Abi drove up for a playdate today. Craig told Abi that she could get extra dirty today, so we made sure to spend some time in the sandbox!
Colter and Sabrina had their Spring Music Program for school tonight. They have been excited about this program for weeks, so it was lots of fun to get to see them perform.
What a great group of kids. We are so blessed to have our preschool!
These two would seriously not know what to do without each other. They have developed a truly special bond!

Colter won a coloring contest at school today. His picture will be hung up at the bank and he got a new coloring book and a bag of candy. He was very proud and excited about his accomplishment. Yeah, Colter!

Zane wore the same tuxedo that Wyatt wore in Kim and Craig's wedding and that Colter wore in Jerod and Cathryn's wedding. We definitely got our money's worth out of that little tuxedo!

On Saturday we dyed lots and lots of Easter eggs to get ready for our big Easter egg hunt the next day.
Sunday we got all dressed up for church and took lots of Easter pictures.
Even though we had to move the Easter egg hunt inside because of rain, the kids still had a lot of fun hunting for eggs all over the house.

Our trip to Zion with our friends the Griffins was wonderfully relaxing (despite the fact that we had a total of eight kids running around!) and breathtakingly beautiful. Danny has all of the details and more pictures on his blog - www.griffisfamilyoutdoors.blogspot.com.
We are currently in the midst of packing for a week of camping and backpacking in Zion National Park. We will be meeting our good friends the Griffins who live in California. It will be quite an adventure, 4 adults and 8 kids - ranging from 6 years to 6 months. We are going to drive through Denver on our way home and spend Easter weekend with Danny's family. Be sure to check our blog the week after Easter for pictures of our exciting week.
The kids were so excited about Danny's birthday today! They took care of the decorations (see below) and each of them made him a card. It was a special day for the birthday boy!
We ended our weekend visit to Noni and Papa's house with a trip to feed the ducks. Zane loved seeing the "quack, quacks" and even threw them some bread (after tasting it first!).
