While the Texas Panhandle isn't know for it's trees, we do have a few in our yard. As soon as the wind started blowing the leaves down (the wind is something we are known for!), the boys and I started playing in them. We had a great time raking them up, jumping in them and throwing them at each other. It was a good thing we did it when we did, because the next week the wind blew REALLY hard for an entire day and not only blew the rest of the leaves of the trees, but blew most of them out of our yard, too!

Could you send a little wind up this way?!?! All of our leaves and our neighbors leaves fall, but then stay in OUR yard. So far we are up to about 30 bags and our neighbors trees have only lost half their leaves. The kids loved the leaves at first, but now they are just as frustrated as the rest of us!!!! If the boys really need a leaf fix, feel free to come for a visit to go Ole Kentucky! Love, Cara
