Well, the guidebooks were right - the views and scenery on the hike were absolutely breathtaking! The trail followed a river and there were several waterfalls, including one near our campsite. We walked over huge granite slabs, beside roaring rapids and through forested areas. Danny and I both agreed that it was the most beautiful hike we had ever done. It's always challenging hiking with a toddler and preschooler, but watching their faces as they experience these incredible examples of God's creation makes it worth all of the effort. Below are just a few of our favorite pictures out of the many Danny took during this hike.

Wyatt has been fascinated with waterfalls for the last several months. He loved the fact that there seemed to be a waterfall around every bend in the trail! Colter called them "wa-wa-fa."
Danny took this moonlight picture of the waterfall near our campsite. It was almost a full moon that evening.
